Enlighten Sponsored William Tregurtha | Operational Excellence

Enlighten-sponsored racing driver William Tregurtha will make his first appearance on Australian soil on February 2-4 in the world-famous Liqui-Moly Bathurst 12-hour endurance event.

In line with our mission to help clients become operationally exceptional and carve out a competitive edge, William has been sponsored by Enlighten Operational Excellence for the last two years as he sets his sights on achieving the highest accolades in the sport.

The 17-year-old GT champion from the UK will be driving a 150mph Ginetta G55 GT4 at the Mount Panorama circuit.

William is on Ginetta’s young development driver programme and the Yorkshire-based sportscar manufacturer have placed him with their Ginetta Australia colleagues to try and bring back the silverware from Bathurst.

Speaking on the upcoming Bathurst race, William said: “I am excited by the prospect of racing at Bathurst. The Bathurst 12-hour is one of the world’s great endurance races and I cannot wait to get stuck in. I am grateful to Ginetta for giving me this opportunity and to Enlighten – as ever – for their support.”

He will be partnered by Aussie racers Ben Walsh and Jaie Robson as some of the world’s best sportscar racers descend on New South Wales in front of huge crowds.

William has already shown remarkable flair and talent having won the 2016 Ginetta Junior Championship and the 2017 British GT4 title.

Enlighten is extremely proud to be sponsoring William Tregurtha as the rising motorsport star gears up for an outstanding performance at one of Australia’s largest sporting events.

The Bathurst 12-hour, which is widely acknowledged around the world as one of the most significant races for GT vehicles on the racing calendar, will be streamed around the world.
